Post-Graduation
So what do I do now that I have completed my Bachelors degree? I have no idea! Graduation went beautifully although it was really long. It was followed by Makool family Christmas in Wynne. We had a lot of food, fun, and fellowship with 30 people in the house. That sums up Saturday. Sunday I went to church with the family and then I watched Christmas movies with Rocio! We then went to the church Christmas party and came back to Searcy town. We went to Hastings really late Sunday night to find a movie, but instead I found my Betty Crocker recipe book that I want really bad. I didn't buy it because I am not ready to start cooking just yet. I have to wait until the holidays are over. Monday we got ready and went to Jonesboro to finish up all our shopping for Christmas. Traffic was a little ridiculous, but the lines weren't terrible inside the stores. Once we finished things in Jonesboro, we went to Paragould and took care of business there. I dropped Rocio off with her familia. Yes I have to say it in Spanish because she is hispanic. Then I went to hang out with Daddy J and the kiddos. Goodness I miss that family more than words can describe. My baby Jace is no long a baby. Noah and Emi are also big which makes me sad. Anyways I then returned to Searcy town again, but it took me forever to get back here. I tried to take a short-cut, but it was NOT a short-cut at all! I think it added 30 minutes to my trip. Oh well I won't be doing that again. Anyways it is Tuesday now and I am having a relaxing day wrapping presents. Christmas is only 4 days away!

12 hours until Graduation!!!
Oh my word!!! 12 hours until I am officially a college graduate!!! I simply cannot believe it. Today has been a day full of excitement and sadness. I am super excited about graduating and starting a new phase in life, but I am sad about my Harding experience being over. I have so many wonderful memories and of course I was just finding my spot with my wonderful girl friends. It's just like church camp...I always got my church camp boyfriend the day before I left.
I have made some incredible memories at Harding. My favorite being made in Europe. Thank you Harding for sending me to Europe and letting me meet some incredible people over there. Another thing Harding brought into my life was Iota Chi and all my wonderful sisters!!! It took me a while to really appreciate these wonderful ladies, but this past semester wouldn't have been the same without them! The list of Harding memories could go on and on: Spring Sing, late night Wal-Mart runs, dance parties, Christmas lights, Rhodes Rowdies, club sports, Student Center talks, nasty caf food, puppy chow, cookies, eating way too much, etc. Dear Harding thanks for the memories. I'll never forget them.
Today has also been a day of sadness/thanksgiving. I am slightly envious of my wonderful roommate who has her grandparents in town to watch her graduate. It makes me miss mine dearly. They never even saw me graduate high school and they still won't be here to see me graduate college. I like to tell myself they are watching from Heaven. Another thing I have thought about today is how great my God is. I graduated high school on crutches with a broken leg. I am so thankful my God has healed my leg completely and I am getting to wear amazing ZEBRA heels tomorrow!!! I am also thankful my bestie Rocio Cavazos is here to celebrate this happy day with me! I serve an awesome God who has blessed me more than words can describe. It has been a fabulous day and will be awesome again tomorrow. Next time I write...I will be Jennifer LaRand Makool B.A. Woot Woot!!!!

First Post
Hey!! So my roommate is slightly addicted to blogging and has convinced me to start. I have a passion for baking/cooking and have gotten the nickname as "Betty Crocker". Since I graduate college in 2 days, I have decided to start cooking through one of Betty Crocker's cookbooks in January. Sarah (my lovely roommate) will be my food critic/photographer of all my lovely dishes. I know it is similar to the movie "Julie and Julia", but unlike that lady I am not cooking a recipe a day. As of now I am planning on cooking about 3 recipes a week. If anybody has any suggestions on a fabulous Betty Crocker cookbook, please let me know. That is all for now! Graduation practice this afternoon! I almost have letters behind my name!!!!
